News Photo; Before and After. A levee in Monroe County, Ill gave way to rushing waters from the Mississippi River Sunday, flooding acres of adjacent farmland. The house in the top photo was caught in the current and lifted from its foundation. The photo at right of the same property shows that only a portion of the home remained. The rest was taken downstream.
