Description

Vol. I, pg. 4A The image depicts an Apache family scene with several individuals standing in a line and one person on a horse. It's set in a desert-like environment, with a traditional dwelling visible on the right, constructed from natural materials like wood and brush. In the background, a small field and the smoke from a cooking fire are visible. The caption below provides context about the family's lifestyle, describing their food preparation methods, housing, and daily routines. Additionally, the document includes a message from Fred A. H. Garlichs, Secretary, Midland Savings Association, St. Joseph, Mo.
