A letter and receipt inside a business envelope from The F.O.P no 3.

Context

A. A small 'Thank You Receipt' for $5.00 for the Fraternal Order of Police Show Fund. B. A thank you letter on Fraternal Order Of Police letterhead from Charles Przybylski, President. There is no date. Dear Friend: On behalf of the FRATERNAL ORDER OFPOLICELODGE #3 I would like to extend to you a heart felt thank you for your generous support with our benefit game with the KANSAS CHIEF'S (basketball). Your contribution will help us in many of our endeaver here in the community, as well as insuring an evening of delightful entertainment for area residents. Enclosed you will find your complimentary family ass attached to your receipt for your tax records. In the event that you are unable to use your family pass, you may issue it to friends or return it for distribution to other disadvantaged residents. In the event these tickets are not used, they will be considered a donation, and are tax deductible. As you know, it takes a great deal of time and preparation to Make the many game and advance ticket arrangements. Won't you help by making your check or money order payable to the F.O.P. LODGE #3 SHOW FUND and dropping it in the mail today ! A self-addressed envelope has been provided for your convience. Thank you again for your concern and support. The return address on the envelope is stamped in red ink 'F.O.P #3, P O Box 151, St. Joseph MO' it is addressed to Myrl E Watkins, St. Joseph, Mo. It is postmarked SAINT JOSEPH, MO 14 JAN 1988. There is a brown embossed stamp with USA 22 and the profile of a buffalo in the center.
