Albert Andriano began a bottling company in St. Joseph in 4855. After the Civil War, Joseph Andriano, Albert's son, purchased the business and later formed a partnership with Louis Fuelling to whom he sold out in 1871. Harry Miller purchased the business in 1921 and retained it until 1953 when it was sold to Midland Bottling Co. Around 1976 the bottling business was sold to Pepsi Cola General Bottlers, Inc. At that time it was believed to be the oldest continuous operating soft drink bottling plant in the country.Lexicon
