The image depicts a vintage-style cover of a document titled "Genealogy of the McDonald Family." Central to the cover is a coat of arms featuring four quadrants: a lion, an arm holding a cross, a sailing ship, and a fish. Beneath the shield is a scroll with the Latin motto "Per Mare Per Terras," meaning "By Sea By Land." The background is a muted gray, giving an antiquated feel, with some visible wear marks that add to its vintage appearance, suggesting a historical record of the McDonald family's lineage and heritage.
