Gibson Girl; Paper Dolls in Full Color contained 2 dolls and many of the fashions which the Gibson girl would have worn along with a few young men who would have accompanied her. Unfortunately, the dolls have been cut out and removed, but most of the fashions are still in the book. The Gibson Girl fashions are credited to Charles Dana Gibson (1867-1944). Gibson is credited with creating a second age of chivalry in the American male of the period and with creating a new freedom for the women who patterned themselves on the model he had fashioned.
