Ginn Youth Center St. Joseph News-Press November 21, 1971 is a picture of Leo Blakely, Thomas Snargrass, Laurence Lucas, Darryl Barksdale, A. E. Brown and John M. Lucas Jr. They are the six members on the board of directors for the Richard Marvin Ginn Youth Center at 20th and Messanie. There was a community-wide effort to raise funding for the construction for the youth center. The goal was $75,000. The building will have a recreation area, library, meeting hall, kitchen and snack bar, and office space.
