This Green Hills store was first opened on April 3, 1967.
Due to the landlord wanting to raise Ray Heitman's rent an extreme amount, Ray Heitman closed this store and moved operations here to his 3225 North Belt store
(Belt Highway & Karnes Road).
It was a really nice & very large store.
I sold Frito Lay products here and it was my biggest and best store for over 7 years.
Except for a couple small shops, this once booming shopping center is now pretty much deserted.
Rumor is, Hy-Vee stores merchandise here occasionally.
