Heinie's was one of the first family restaurants on the Belt Highway
Heinie's was one of St Joseph's finest restaurants
They were known for their fabulous steak and BBQ rib dinners
It was located on the northwest corner of Belt Highway and Messanie Street
In 1980, it became JR Piccadillys
In 1989 or 1990, Heinie's building was razed and was replaced by Beaty's BBQ Restaurant
Later an auto parts store was built on the location which is still currently there

Heinies closed their doors in 1979
