Highly's Addition, Block 9, Lots, 10-11, Abstract of Title, 1846-1964. Originally Simeon Kemper Land Grant, 1846. NW ¼ of Section 9, Township 57, Range 35. In years 1847-1856, sold to James Highley several acres of this grant which in 1857 became Highly Addition (65.24 acres) to City of St. Joseph by Saint Joseph City Company. Plat map included. Subsequent sales through 1964 for Lots 10 & 11 in Block Nine of Highly Addition (Jones St). Includes wills of Henry Sweeney, & James B. Sweeney.
