Description
In preparation for the designation of the Pony Express Trail as a National Historic Trail, the National Park Service conducted a Historic Resource Study. Dr. Godfrey wrote the study. He spent some time researching in St. Joseph. The study gives a basic history of the Pony Express and covers the trail, station by station. Excellent footnote and bibliographic material and analysis of existing primary material.
