Historical Guide to New Brunswick is just that--a history of the island of New Brunswick starting with The Indian Period followed by the French Period and various stages of the English Period rule. Included are articles about Aboriginal pottery, The Acadians who occupied the area, people of the times, settlements, explorers, etc. Some mention of Nova Scotia is given as New Brunswick was once part of it. An alphabetical list of topics is at the beginning of the book. The title page notes that this is a revised edition.
