An Introduction to the Study of the Middle Ages (375-814 A.D.) is intended to show that all was not bad during the "Dark Ages." During this time there was the development of the Christian Church, the influence of the Germanic races on Roman culture and the dominion of the Frankish race over all the other Germanic nations of the continent.
