On the motion of Councilman John W. Beaumont and invitation was extended to the commanding generals of the strategic air command and the military air transport service to participate in the July 9 observance of the Pony Express Centennial.
He noted a four-cent postage stamp will be released that day in Sacramento and a four-cent envelope will be placed on sale here.
