Description
James, Jesse, Photo on Horse "Stonewall" from Star Newspaper, 1875. Purported to be a news photo (although it looks much like an illustration). Man in dark suit and light hat mounted on his light-color horse with dark mane. (Although this description accompanied this particular copy. The "original" photo in SJM collection has printed on the photo that this is a Pinkerton agent.)
