Japanese Occupational Currency, Philippines 1 Peso, 1942.

The image depicts a vintage currency note labeled "ONE PESO" issued by "THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT." It features ornate designs along its borders, with the denomination prominently displayed in large font both in numbers and words at various points on the note. Central to the design, there is an illustration of a monument resembling an obelisk, accompanied by surrounding trees and other decorative elements. The serial number on the note is printed in red and black ink, positioned on different parts of the paper. The overall appearance of the note gives it an aged, historic look, suggesting it was intended for use during a period of Japanese occupation, likely in a territory that required peso currency.
