Jesse James floorboard Affidavit is a copy of original in SJM files. Mrs. Rose Gernandt says her mother owned the home and was renting it to Jesse James under the name of Thomas Howard. Her mother removed the board shortly after the killing. She has possessed boards until the donation to the St. Joseph Museum in 1955.
