John D. Strong Papers, 1890. J. D. Strong was an attorney in St. Joseph. He was also a Judge, perhaps a U. S. Judge, as his cases are digested in Central Law Journal, 1880. At one time he was in the law department of the St. Joseph Kansas City and Council Bluff's Railroad. He lived on the south side of Felix Street between 13th and 14th Street. He was married to Mary E.
