John Phillip Koerner Scrapbook is a collection of pages which were copied from the original documents owned by Janice Blair. She brought the scrapbook to a descendants banquet on April 3, 2010. Mr. Koerner was a Pony Express Rider. There are newspaper articles and personal papers which attest to this fact. He also collected anything from the newspaper which referred to the Pony Express. Included also are family pictures. The first few pages are a biography of John Phillip Koerner's life. He immigrated from Germany with his family, lived and worked in the St. Joseph area all his life. He is buried in the Ashland Cematary.
