Concerning the Hays settlement at St. Catherine, MO near Brookfield. Looking for Civil War flag belonging to Elliott's grandfather, Major Crandall. This flag was flying in St. Catherine's and was fired upon by a slaveowner there. She also thought that Elliott had Crandall's sword.
