Description

The Kickapoos; Lords of the Middle Border is the story of the conflict between the Kickapoo Indian tribe in Michigan, Illinois and Indiana and the settlers and United States Goverment. Naturally this caused great consternation and conflict. spanning the 18th Century and into the 20th Century. Included with the book is the original bill of sale and a newspaper clipping from the St. Joseph News Press dated November 30, 1980, titled "Constant wandering makes the Kickapoo Indians the lost tribe of America."
