King, Thomas. O, (Mrs.), Dorcas Georgiana Debenhan, wife of Pony Express Rider, Photo, c. 1870. Copy of photograph of Mrs. King taken about 1870. Head shot, She is wearing her light hair back in bun, with short curly bangs and is wearing dangle earrings. Her dark dress has lace and braid inserts, with gold pin clasped at neck of high collar. Sepia-tone, copy Dorcas was born July 10, 1846 in Scole, Norfolk England and married Thomas Owen King, May 23, 1868. She died of typhoid in Almo, Idaho, Aug. 20, 1905. She crossed the Plains in 1864.
