The Last Journals of David Livingstone, in Central Africa includes the following on the title page: From Eighteen Hundred and Sixty-five to his death. Continued by a Narrative of His Last Moments and Sufferings, obtained from His Faithful Servants Chuma and Susi. Dr. Livingstone kept daily journals which he sent back to England by various methods to his daughter, Mriss Agnes Livingstone. However, he became ill, and did not send them during the last three or four years of his life--the reason his journals were entrusted to his faithful servants. These accounts are of his travels and life in various parts of Africa.
