Vol II pg. 106Z Letter from Harry George to the Mohonk Lodge regarding other baskets he is interested in. 4/26/09. Colony, Okla. Dear sirs: Please let me know by return mail if there is any possibility of securing specimens of Choctaw and Attakapa baskets from you. The Attakapa baskets are made in the same district as the Chetimache, and possibly may be confounded with the same. If you are writing to people from whom you get the Chetimaches [you?] may be able to secure information regarding the Attakapa. If you do not care to do this and will let me know where to write I will attend to this myself. I am also anxious to secure specimens of the Choctaw baskets. I judge from the information I have that these three families are found in the same district. In other words according to the information i have they are from the same locality and are located in the state Louisiana. Please look into this matter for me, or if you do not care to look it up let me know and I will be glad to give same my personal attention. Yours very truly.
