Description

Vol II pg. 41A Letter from Grace Nicholson to Harry George regarding the possibility of him visiting her and baskets she has shipped to him. August 25th, 1908. Mr. Harry L. George, 315 Francis Street, St Joseph, Missouri, Dear Mr. George, In reply to your favor of August 19th. Would state that it will give me great pleasure to have you call when you come West again. Be sure and make yourself known that I may show you the extra good things, which are upstairs, and which the casual tourist does not see. Collecting, as you have, for so many years you surely must have a lot of good things, but I am sure you will find at least a few good Baskets in my stock which would make a valuable addition to your Collection. I remember Mrs. Frohman buying a large Pomo Burden Basket and a few other Baskets, which she wished packed and said not to put my shipping tag on the outside, as she wished to ship direct, Probably my packer dropped my card into the Baskets, as usual. If you have photographs of your Collection, when you come West I trust you will bring them along, as I am greatly interested in all of the leading Collections in the country, and have photographs of most of them. Thanking you for your prompt reply and anticipating your visit, I am Cordially, Grace Nicholson
