A letter from Bob Byloff, President, FINCOR Incom International Inc., York, PA to Dr. Wilbur C. McDonald, dated October 17, 1977. It is written on high quality paper on FINCOR letterheadContext
Dear Wilbur:
It was a genuine pleasure for both Virginia and I to make your acquaintance and that of Eleanor's during the activities of the International Wine and Food Society in London. I hope that it will not be too long until we have such an opportunity to be with you again.
As I promised you during the meeting, I am enclosing a copy of ta Ph.D. thesis dealing with cooperage. I believe that you will be particularly interested in the section starting on page 8 titled "Cooperage Substitutes." This deals with the application of oak chips in glass containers to provide the necessary finish to the wine.
If there are any further questions that I can answer please feel free to contact me, and if I am ever in St. Joseph or near there I will give you a call.
Sincerely,
EnclosureLexicon
