Scope and Content

A copy of a letter on onion skin paper from Wilbur P. McDonald, M. D., to Dr. R. G. Peterson, Production Manager, Beaulieu Vineyards, Rutherford, Napa County, California, dated October 20,1972. The letters COPY in red ink are down the left hand side of the paper.

Context

Dear Dr. Peterson: It was certainly a pleasure to se you again, and to realize that an Iowa boy "made good" in the wine business. Thank you for taking hth time to answer my questions and be so patient in explaining on Friday, October 6th. It is only through these conversations that I am able to enhance my knowledge of enology. If you have any bright ideas about a Vinifera that will stand the winters in northwest Missouri, please pass them on. Sincerely
