Pg A "Greetings for the South: Hotter than hell and I am at last losing some weight. Had a night problem Thurs. evening I got in at 2:00Friday morning. Had to get up at 6:15 though and go lay out panels. Also had message picked up by plane. That night problem was plenty tough and I cut my leg on some barbed wire. Don't worry it isn't bad. Also sprained a thumb this morning. i guess I'll be okay in a couple of days. Have bed check tonight and have to stay up until 12:00. Plenty"
Pg B "tough as I sure need some sleep. I work while the rest of the fellows sleep. oh well. I'll get a few letters written. how are the meat and canned goods coming along. Out of coupons yet? Have a full field inspection tomorrow out in the field. Will be a hard one I guess. Hope I pass. Have night problem Tues and Friday of this week (coming up) so if Frank and Marcia call have them call me any other night. Also think we are moving out of here some time this week.
