An original letter from Wilbur P. McDonald, M. D., to Mr. Bill Slynn, Agricultural Chemical Group, Ciba-Geigy Corporation, Greensborough, North Carolina, dated July 21, 1980. It is written on heavy bound paper of Dr. McDonald's office letterhead.Context
Dear Mr. Slynn:
As an amateur vinter in St. Joseph, Missouri since 1960, I am trying to grow the hybrids and viniferas here in North-West Missouri and make a wine from them. My yearly production ranges from 10 to 40 gallons, as I try to make a five gallon varietal batch from the grapes available each year.
In the past I have been using Irgazyme 100, which I obtained in 50 grm. cans which helps me tremendously in my pressing of white grapes. It is myunderstanding that Ciba-Geigy no onger produces Irgazyme so I am in a quandary. Could you supply me with a similar product or let me know where I can obtain one?
Sincerely,
