Dear Wilbur:
Bill Kelley called recently and his call reminded me that I have not sent further information on our winery and wine.
We are still looking for the "black ink" but it's getting closet - probably next year will see it.
We are getting much favorable mentions and articles in the wine press.
By a copy of this letter to the winery, I am asking them to send you a packet of information and reprints of some of these articles.
I ask them to give you the name of our distributor for St Joseph and where our wine is available.
We crushed 140,000 gallons of juice last fall and are bottling the 93 Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and the 94 Pinot Gris.
The Pinot Gris is very hot in the marketplace - we will be out of our 93 Pinot Gris before we will be able to release our 94 vintage.
Surely, the new political climate in our country will dull the imperialistic attitude of some of our government agencies. I agree with you that the BATF of one of the worst.
Please note the 800 number of the winery and give them a call for a visit if you get up that way.
Sincerely,Lexicon
