Dear Jim:
Thank you and Mia for being so kind and so gracious to Eleanor and I while we were in San francisco. Your hospitality certainly made the trip a memorable one.
Our tour of the vineyards was made very easily as we followed the list you wrote out for me. Also we asked for the person that you named, . . . . This was the open sesame to the entire winery. It was a pressure to know such a great personality as you, . . . . Mr. Monahan at the Beaulieu Vineyards . . .Brother Timothy at Christian Brothers we could not run down. Mr. Dills at the Krug Winery was more than gracious, as was Mr. Rev Cant who went into great detail explaining . . . This I don't believe I will follow in my own process but I may obtain a starter of yeast as he suggested.
When we get to Livermore, Herman Wente could not have been more kind, taking a couple of hours from his work to explain the makings of white wine.
Thank you again Jim, Eleanor and I don't know how we can ever repay your kindness.
Sincerely,Lexicon
