A letter on a small piece with the letterhead - Kansas State College, Manhattan, Kansas, Department of Horticulture, from Erwin Abmeyer to Dr. Wilbur McDonald, dated February 5, 1962.Context
Dear Dr. McDonald:
Thank you very much for your letter of September 27, and the information contained therein, even tho I am late in getting around to an acknowledgement.
While the weather this winter has been against getting much done in the way of pruning, by wallowing around in the snow I have managed to get most of the grapes pruned. However, there are enough left unpruned that we could still demonstrate how we go about it, if you want to come over some time. With most of the snow gone, I will probably be working in the orchard most of the time, but could easily take time to go over to the vineyard with you.
Since there are a lot of trees to prune, I probably won't be in any hurry to finish the grapes.
Very truly yours.Lexicon
