Two attached letters. The first from Leon D. Adams, Executive Secretary, The Society of Medical Friends of Wine, San Francisco, California to Dr. McDonald, dated March 29, 1973. It is printed on The Society of Medical Friends of Wine letterhead.
The other is a copy on onion skin paper of Dr. McDonald's letter to Mr. Lee Coe, Berkeley, California in which the first letter references. It is dated April 11, 1973. The letters COPY in red ink are down the left hand side of the paper. In which the first letter refersContext
Dear Dr. McDonald:
My book should reach you by the end of April, if I understand what the publishers tell me. Your comments, including criticisms, are invited, about the entire work and in particular about what is occurring in Missouri. I may be visiting Missouri again late this year and would like to see Dr. Arneson's vineyard, mentioned in Chapter 10. There's talk of some kind of event in observance of the revival of Missouri winegrowing. If you see any news item about Missouri vineyards or new wineries, I'd much appreciate your sending them along.
Answering your query abut how to order THE BEGINNERS HOME BREW BOOK by Lee Coe, I believe that if you mail a check form$2.25 to the author at . . . . . Berkeley, CA . . , he'd have it mailed to you. I gather that it's sold in stores that supply home winemakers and home brewers, and at various prices; nobody has yet made clear how to order it by mail. There have been several queries since the item appeared in this Society's Bulletin.

Somewhere I read about your book several months ago, and made inquiries at the local bok store, but they informed me that it was unavailable. I then saw an article mentioning it by Leon D. Adams, the Executive Secretary of "The Society of Medical Friends of Wine", so I wrote him for your address. If the above price is not correct, please bill me for any additional.
