Scope and Content

A copy of a letter, on onion skin paper, from Wilbur P. McDonald, M. D., to Mr. Nicholas Reinprecht, Eisenstadt, Austria, dated August 30, 1968. The letters COPY in red ink are printed down the left hand side of the page.

Context

Dear Mr. Reinprecht : Two months ago I wrote to you asking if you would sell me ten or twenty cases of your "Ruster Burgunder" wine. Since so much time has passed without a reply, I m afraid the letter must have gone astray, or else your good niece Eve has become ill again, which I hope is not the case. Enclosed is a copy of the letter I wrote you on June 26th of this year and I am anxiously awaiting a reply so that I can start the proceedings from this end of the line to receive the wine. Hope you and Eve are both in good health Sincerely,
