Dear Dr. McDonald:
Thank you so much for your letter of June 14th and your very kind expressions and for directing our attention to the error for lot #274 which actually was intended for bidder #335 who has since been notified of his successful bid.
Indeed I recall our brief conversation as you were leaving the hotel and my regrets that you had not been successful a the auction. In the possibility that we may obtain additional supplies of Chambolle-Musigny Chames, Vintage 1934 it will be our pleasure to keep you advised.
