Context

Dear Bob: Thank you very much for the thesis concerning cooperage, and I have just obtained about a bushel of good white American oak saw dust from a local milling company. I plan to make a tincture so that I will be able to control the quantity, or at least have a record of the quantity that I use in my five gallon batches. Small stuff, but its fun. Eleanor sends her love to you and Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed your company during the tour and convention. Eleanor is off to Colorado this coming week for a visit, and then we will be going to Aspen skiing over Christmas and New Years. Surely your business will bring you to St. Joe eventually, so why not come during duck season. That seems to be about the only thing I can offer that is better than average, Sincerely,
