Context

Dear Wilbur, How nice to hear from you. And such a great letter. We certainly appreciate all the banquets you tossed our way. Usually people only write to tell us the wine was spoiled and they want their money back. How have you and Eleanor been. We thought of you when we were in the midwest last fall but unfortunately no where near St. Joseph. Since our South African tour we've been to Spain and Japan, and th9is fall are going to Austria and Switzerland on a tour led by Professor Amerine. Thanks again for the letter and with best regards. Sincerely, (a handwritten note in pencil "Elizabeth "Liz")
