Howdy, Friend:
Pony Express is a tradition throughout the Nation, but particularly here in S. Joseph where it started 100 years ago this year.
Dannen Mills is a tradition in St. Joseph, too, where we stated making Dannen Feeds 25 years ago this year.
I'm pleased to send this 1st Day Cover to commemorate both anniversaries.
The cachet was designed and printed in our own Advertising Department under the direction of Ray Gould, our Advertising Manager. You can keep it as a souvenir, or you may want to give it to a stamp collecting friend.
As we celebrate this Centennial and this Silver Anniversary, all of us at Dannen Mills want you to know how much we appreciate associating with you in a business way.
