Letter from the Mohonk Lodge to Harry George regarding items they have or can get for him.
July 28, 1911.
Mr. Harry L. George,
St. Joseph, Mo.
Dear Sir: -
Your’s of the 24th inst. received, and in reply will say that as yet we have no word about Seminole goods. We can secure Deleware moccasins, and also Caddo moccasins and hand-bags of different kinds, but no basket work. In regard to feather bonnets; we have what is commonly called the eagle-feather war bonnet. These come in two styles, one being merely a circlet of feathers, and the other the circlet of feathers with the longer streamers down the back. The price of the former is $10.00 and the latter $15.00. The two specimens we have on hand are of fair grade only. We do not have buffalo shields. If any of these will meet with your approval, we will be glad to ship.
Sincerely yours,
The Mohonk Lodg,
Dict.
