Letter from Harry George to the Mohonk Lodge regarding items, mostly baskets, he would like to obtain.

Dear Sirs:
I am just in receipt of your favor of the 27th of January and in reply to same will state as soon as the baby carrier is received I will examine same and if it is satisfactory will remit to you for same. I have no doubt but what it will be satisfactory. I regret exceedingly that you cannot find a Choctaw basket, though I am not very much disappointed so far as same is concerned, feeling sure specimens of these baskets are likely to be hard to get.
Regarding the Chetimaches which I have will state tht referring to the descriptive list which you sent me some time ago you must have some of these baskets that have not in my collection. This description calls for some of these baskets made a square shape 5 -½” and 7-½” at 75¢ and $1.10. Also heart shaped at 95¢ , $1.00 and $1.20. The memorandum which you sent me on August 20th, shows that I received a double weave with cover at $3.00, and August 8th one heart shaped at $1.20. These two in addition to the flat covered basket which I bought while in the far west constitutes what I have of this tribe makes I believe at 75¢ 95¢ and $1.30 you have some styles of shapes I would like to have therefore I would be glad to have you set them aside until an answer is received to the letter which I wrote you on the 26th. When it is determined as to wheter you can furnish what I then asked for I will know about the Chetimache which is referred to in this letter.
In answer this letter please state briefly what you can or are likely to be able to furnish in Indians baskets. Give me the names and that will answer, or if I desire further information I will let you know.Subject
