Description

Vol II pg. 41C Letter from Grace Nicholson to Harry George regarding her collecting business and what she can offer. Jan. 12, 1909. Mr. Harry L. George, St Jopseh. Mo. Dear Mr. George, I wish to thank you for your favor of the 2nd instant. I am certain that I am in a position to be of great help in completing your Collection, simply because I have the largest stock to select from and all of them good specimens, and almost every tribe represented, between Alaska and Mexico. Besides I have complete data regarding every Basket, and most of the information I have was secured from personal visits to the Indians, either by myself or my buyer. Prices I am sure will be satisfactory to you, as they are to all of the leading collectors in the country. I make them a reduction of 10% straight from my regular price, and know that my regular prices are far below those of any one else who has ever attempted to handle Baskets. Knowing your position and wants, I await with interest the details which you are preparing, and will give the matter my personal attention at once, as soon as I hear from you. Very truly yours, Grace Nicholson
