Letter to Dr. C. Hart Merriam from Harry L. George stating he is now is open to receiving items to enrich his collection. Vol II pg. 102P
Dear Sir:
On the 3rd of June I wrote you I expected to be absent for some time therefore it would be best for you not to attempt to send me anything while I was away. I have just returned home and an prepared to consider anything you may desire to send me, and trust you may be able to find something that will add to my collection. During my visit to Alaska I was fortunate enough to secure some pieces I prize very highly and which will help me very much in making up my collection as I would like to have it.
Yours very truly,
