Dear Sir
Your favor of 9/28 to hand[?], and to quote you as follows, our lowest wholesale price saddles 55 to 75 ct per # Rugs 75 to $135 per $ but the average run of them is 85 to $100 But it is hard to determine the value by quoted prices; unless you could see the goods as their is such a vast difference in quality, in different parts of the Reservation. We dont think our prices and quality can be beat anywhere, as we buy direct from the INdian, and from no other source, and prices we make barely cover carding and baling, etc; As we are not in the Blanket buisness, as a buisnes; but buy item[?] daily as they come from our custommers, regardless [page fold] stock on hand therefore we have to sell, and have [page fold] buy to get trade. Hence our low price.
