Letter from Grace Nicholson to Harry George discussing Seri basket work and his interest in a particular basket with handles.
May 15, 1912.
Mr. Harry L. George,
201 Saxton Bank Bldg.,
St Joseph, Mo.,
Dear Sir: –
Please accept my thanks for the information inclosed in your letter of the 9th.
This Fall I will probably be able to furnish you some specimens of Seri work of Lower California. Upon my return from my Arizona trip I will see what I can find in the line of Baskets with handles. In the meantime you may come across the picture of the Basket. Perhaps it was one of the Hopi meal Baskets, many of which have a loose handle.
I am leaving in a few days for my summer. s trip, but I will keep you posted and my mail will be forwarded.
Very truly yours,
Grace NicholsonSubject
