Context

To Whom It May Concern: Miss Maryan Carlson has been with us as stenographer for over two years. Before coming to us she had charge of the record department at Noyes Hospital, this city, (now closed). She is leaving to specialize in hospital record work a she likes this character of work and is particularly adapted to it.
