Hello Dear, Got your sweet letter today and sure was glad to get it. It sure seems a long time when I don't hear from you. Went to the firing range at 7 o'clock this AM. We shot at moving target and by the time the fog cleared up and they got the target fixed it was 11am before we started shooting. Just two in the company got to shoot, me and another guy. Neither one of us done much good. There were 2 other companies besides us. Our company had 750 rounds and we only shot 140 so we have a lot of ammo left. I still haven't got the mail orderly job fixed up yet, but think I will be on it tomorrow. I felt like hell today. The right side of my neck is sore. My glands are swollen up. I also have a gum boil on the right side of my mouth besides a sore tongue from rubbing on the tooth that I lost the filling out of. I took a couple of anasins before supper and feel pretty good now. The weather was hot this afternoon and I got pretty sunburnt. Glad you felt like a summer breeze when you went to bed at 6:45. What's the matter dear? Did pops tire you out? Wish I was there now I would tire you out some more. Do you think I could? I know how lonely you feel dear as I fell the same way. Sorry about my pet rooster. He was sure a cute little fellow. Did you find out who the car belonged to? They must have been on a dandy. Darling, you know boys don't drink at stag parties. They just pour it down. Mighty nice of Lindsey giving you that sweater. Bet you look swell in it. You look swell in anything tho. You look sweet without anything on too. Ask me, I know. Well darling that is about all the news for now. All I have to do now is wait for your next letter. Take care of my baby. Your own Clarence. I Love YouLexicon
