My Darling, Just a line to let you know I received your letters and will answer them just a soon as I can. We are working 12 hrs a day from 6 am to 6 pm. We walk 4 miles every day. Don't know what we will do after today. I didn't qualify for marksmanship. I shot 109 out of a possible 200. That's lousy. Will explain later. Honey, will you send me my flash light. Do not insure it, but send it regular P.P. I can not get insured mail while at the firing range. You can probably get one of mine from mom if you haven't got mine there. I have two of them there same place. It has rained on us all day today. We got all wet but went on shooting just the same. Well, dear, I am writing this by candle light and I am tired. It's about 9 pm and we have to get up at 5 am, so I better close. Take care of yourself dear and please write often and I will answer your letters just as soon as I find time. Tell your mother hello for me. Love always ClarenceLexicon
