Letter from Sarah J. Henderson to Harry George noting she has set aside the Aleutian cigar case and describing cornhusk bags for sale. In addition is a "Basket List" (see also Vol 1, P. 224B), sent at a later date. Vol 1 P. 224A
Dear Sir,
Many thanks for your favor of Oct., 30th.
Since hearing from you I have secured a concession of Ten Dollars upon the
price^ of the Aleutian cigar case and am holding it for you, at Forty Dollars, ($40.00) in case this price
meets your favor.
Will hold it until I may have time to hear from you regarding the matter.
My impression is that I neglected calling your attention to the corn husk bags made by Nez Perce, Umatilla and other Indians belonging between the Cascade Range and the Blue Mountains.
Their best work is attractive in appearance and very durable. The designs are generally wrought in with a variety of colors in wool.
Yours very truly,
(Additional notes alongside the left edge of the page. The writing is faint)
I will send you cigar case and bags for approval providing you pay express charge one way.

Basket List for H. L. George
This handwritten inventory notes different types of baskets, including a "Khlinket Cedar bark Bag" priced at $2.25 and a "Corn husk Bag (I believe Nez Perces)" for $9.00. Other items such as "Cedar-root," "Elatap's Wall Pocket," and a "Twine and Root Bag" are mentioned alongside their corresponding prices, totaling $106.50. The document includes a note:
After having mailed up the box, I found I had forgotten to list the price of the old
Nez Perce Bag, but the tag on the bag will tell you if I have erred as to the price on
that. Hoping these will give satisfaction, I remain gratefully yours,Subject
