Description

The original and copy of a typed letter and envelope to E.J. Bost from Harry L. George discussing a misdirected order. Vol. I, pg. 32f Dear Sir: The morning mail brings me your letter of August 3rd which appears to have been mis-directed, thus having gone to St. Louis. My order was sent to you on the 21st of July, but appears not to have been filled. If agreeable to you I would like to make some changes in the same. From another source have secured a waste paper basket, and having one at home I now have all I can use of the same. Let me hear from you at once if agreeable and I will make some changes in my order and cancel my order for a waste paper basket. Yours very truly (Envelope) An envelope from the Department of the Interior's Indian School Service, Office of Superintendent, featuring hand-written notes on the left side. It is addressed to Mr. Harry L. George, Commission Merchant, at 315 Francis St., St. Louis, Mo.
