Description

Letter from A.A. Bear to Harry George discussing an Apache plaque and noting he is working on obtaining the information Harry George asked for. Dear Sir, Your courteous favor of recent date was received, but too late to include the Apache plaque in the shipment. I am not on train now tho I may obtain this particular specimen as I think I mentioned it was on exhibition at the Indian School, and was much admired. I have written and in case it is not sold shall hold or send it. I have in sight another by the same woman but she is holding it too high but then I can make a deal for it a little later. I shall be very glad to obtain all the information of which you speak, but shall have to defer it until I can personally look up the statistics on the Indian School in Phoenix. I am sure it is only with the greatess of pleasure that whatever I may have aided you has been done and shall be done. Certainly your kind offer to call on you for favors is appreciated and in case there is anything I shall take pleasure in so doing. If I am tardy in replying to your communication, I trust you will pardon me for at the present time there is an unusual amount of work for me to direct. Yours very cordially,
